Don’t miss this summer’s new Drama Stars camp, where we will journey through the fantastical story of Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Through English-based drama activities, students build speaking and presentation skills alongside exploring creativity, teamwork and most importantly, having fun!
Develop foundation drama skills including voice projection, articulation, expression and presentation, through games, role-play and teamwork
Learn to play a character, read a script and prepare a performance
Build confidence in-front of an audience
Create props and artwork to use in your performance
Take part in an end-of-week video production
Claire is a highly experienced Performing Arts practitioner with over 10 years of teaching in both the UK and Hong Kong. Claire has devised and delivered drama and performing arts programs for local, international and specialist schools in Hong Kong, with her students graduating into overseas study and performances, including Tring Park School (London), the Royal Ballet School (London) and Billy Elliot (London). Claire was Head of Performing Arts for seven years at a leading Hong Kong arts institution, as well as Executive Producer for the professional touring productions of Mamma Mia and The National Theatre of Great Britain’s War Horse (Hong Kong). Claire loves to bring her passion and diverse arts experience to her classes and is very much looking forward to working with the ESF Drama Stars this summer.
