Our Kindergarten Development Programme (KDP) has been specifically designed for children between the ages of 2 and 5 years as a fun and active way to develop gross motor skills and correct techniques to ensure a strong start to their engagement in sports.
Running, kicking, catching and throwing will energise children throughout a KDP class. Gymnastics and movement, tag and team building activities will all help children to develop friendships and a love of sport.
Our KDP has been designed to develop self-confidence and self-awareness in all students. By assisting children to develop their abilities to perform activities in a team or individual setting they will develop cognitive, physical, social and emotional skills based around a foundation of inclusion. We believe that all children, regardless of their athletic abilities can develop a positive attitude toward physical activity.
We recommended that students participate in the KDP at least once or twice a week over a regular period to see real benefit.
We will provide parents with continuous information on what their children are experiencing in the classes through our new portal which will be introduced for Term 1 2016.
Parents/Guardians of children under the age of 6 years MUST REMAIN on site for the duration of each class.
