Players will develop body movement fundamentals learning how to jump stop and stride stop; changing pace and direction, pivoting, triple threat and defensive stance. In addition, footwork skills will be developed and man-to-man defense will be introduced. Small-sided game concepts will cover 4-on-4 team play. | |
Advanced - Level 2 (BB5) |
15 - 16 years |
Secondary school players will develop their dribbling skills and continue to develop their shooting techniques. 5-on-5 offensive team play concepts will be introduced including screening and individual defensive skills will be enhanced. | |
Players are now ready to start learning offensive set plays and be introduced to team defense concepts including rebounding and boxing-out. | |
Players who have a reasonable amount of basketball experience and want to play in a recreational intramural environment rather than an intensive, competitive one. | |
