Sports Section
ESF Educational Services provides out-of-school sports classes for children at numerous ESF schools throughout Hong Kong, Kowloon and the New Territories. Our students range in age from 3 years old upwards and come from a variety of backgrounds.
The Sports Section is currently seeking fully qualified and experienced applicants for the following positions in Hong Kong.
Basketball, Head Coach ($33,000-$40,000 HKD monthly)
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the ESL basketball programme across 22 school sites, ensuring day to day operations run smoothly. They will take an active role in increasing participation and growth of the programme in line with ESL’s strategy. Establish and maintain strong links with customers, schools and sporting partnerships in Hong Kong, positively promoting the programme in all areas. They will need to set high standards and have the ability to deliver against set targets. Strong interpersonal skills, detailed planning and the ability to lead projects from the front is essential.
Requirements:
- Hold a Degree, preferably in Sport Management or other related area
- Level 2 certification in basketball or equivalent qualification
- Tournament/match experience required
- Flexible in working evenings and weekends

Swimming, Senior Coach Full Time $24,000-$32,000 HKD monthly
The post holder will contribute to the professional delivery and development of the ESL swimming programme. They will be expected to deliver swimming lessons to children with a range of abilities, ensuring that sessions are safe, fun and effective. They will need to be self motivated and possess a good understanding of planning, monitoring and evaluation of sessions and competitions. The successful candidate will need to show recent evidence of coaching squads and developing new activities and initiatives to increase participation. Strong interpersonal skills, detailed planning and the ability to lead projects from the front is essential.

Swimming Coach (25 hours week), $13,000-16,000 HKD monthly
The post holder will contribute to the smooth delivery of the ESL swimming programme. Conduct swimming lessons for all abilities and levels ensuring progressive athlete development and safety. Maintain high levels of coaching and be responsible for session planning, assessment and progress reports. Applicants must possess a swimming coach/teacher certification and have three years recent experience in teaching/coaching young children in swimming.

Swimming Coach for competitive swimmers, Part time, Hourly
ESL are looking for an enthusiastic part-time swimming coach to assist the Squad Coach in delivering sessions, in English, to competitive swimmers. Candidates will need to possess the minimum of a Level 1 swimming coaching qualification, and have experience in coaching competitive swimmers.
