Young Children's Sports Camps (Age 3-4 years):

From an early age, physical activity is important to a child's development and learning. It isn't just physical. It can involve cognitive, imaginative, creative, emotional and social aspects. ESF's Summer Sport Camp will enable your child to express their impulse to explore, experiment and understand. It aids development intellectually and socially, leading to well rounded and happy children.

ESF Sports Camps follow the philosophy of the UK Curriculum Guidance for the Foundation Stage. All sessions are carefully planned, with an emphasis on activities that are fun, relevant and motivating for each child. Tailored to meet the needs of young children aged 3-4 years, it aims to improve fundamental skills of co-ordination, control and movement. Activities and games will include:- running, dodging, jumping, skipping, landing, balancing, dribbling, volleying, catching/receiving, kicking and rhythm & co-ordination. Specialised days will also take place where children will be able to try Trampolining, Gymnastics and Martial Arts.

We are delighted to offer our highly popular Swimming Classes at Discovery College, South Island School and Renaissance College during this holiday. Many parents have been amazed at the results with their children swimming in structured classes.

Learning through sport enriches your childs early years and gives them a good start to life. All classes are conducted in English and children will be exposed to meaningful interactions and verbal exchanges in an action-packed fun environment.

Junior Sports Camps (Age 5-6 years & 7-10 years):

Junior Sports Camps provide participants with a fantastic introduction to sport. Our camp has been designed to encourage physical activity and interactive learning in a secure and challenging environment.

We maximise the opportunity for children to engage in a variety of sports with professional guidance. Fun through sport is the natural route for children to enhance their physical and cognitive ability as well as providing opportunities for their social and emotional development. These skills can help children to do better at school and can ultimately lead to greater success in leadership, working with teams and overcoming obstacles.

Following the principals of Long Term Athlete Development, the camp delivers a wide range of foundation sports allowing the children to experience and enjoy different types of activities. Children can use this camp not only to have fun and meet new friends but also develop their Approaches to Learning which they can use back in the classroom.

The camp sessions will focus on basic movement skills and encourage children to explore and be challenged in an interactive environment. Sessions are led by qualified coaches, delivering fun and structured games that lay the foundations for a great range of sports. They will be encouraged to start using techniques they have learnt on their own within full games and through sport sequences.
