Spanish Programmes
Level 4 Pre-intermediate 2 (Secondary)
This programme aims at developing students fluency and accuracy when presenting ideas, developing arguments, expressing points of view. Fluency is extended to writing, with support provided for students to prepare both imaginative and factual extended texts, a focus which helps to consolidate work on accuracy completed in previous levels and extended here. This course also prepares students to take Diploma de Espaņol A1, an internationally recognized qualification in Spanish, part of the DELE suite of qualifications, (Diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language) issued by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Spanish Ministry for Education, Social Policies and Sport. Level 4 students will:
- Consolidate and further develop grammatical and vocabulary knowledge
- Increase fluency when expressing ideas and opinions
- Prepare for the speaking, reading, writing and listening components of the exam
