Kindergarten
Play is a child's means of discovery, communication and expression, and through play your child will develop her/his language skills. Our courses provide all children with the opportunity to practice their speaking, reading, writing and listening in every lesson, encouraging and developing confidence in using English.
Our curriculum
The Kindergarten curriculum is divided into appropriate, monthly themes which are specifically designed to help your child gain an awareness of the world around them, have an opportunity to share experiences from their homes and about their families and explore different concepts in a child-friendly way and in a secure environment. Starting in September 2009, the topics covered within the main Kindergarten themes will be in line with the Cambridge Young Learners English courses. This will provide excellent preparation for students who will go on to enter our Primary Programme at Level 1, and who wish to gain an internationally recognized language certificate in the future.
Within each theme we have integrated a variety of enjoyable and thought provoking books, chosen specifically to stimulate the interests of young children. Appropriate language learning outcomes have also been established for each Kindergarten level that cover the four key skill areas of listening, speaking, reading and writing.
We offer both 1.5 and 3 hour classes for our Kindergarten students.
