Wu Kai Sha is an ESF International Kindergarten

We are located in Lake Silver, a new residential and commercial complex, in Wu Kai Sha, near Ma On Shan in the New Territories.

The kindergarten is situated immediately above Wu Kai Sha station on the KCR Ma On Shan rail line and is two stops from Heng On station, the location of ESF's Renaissance College.

The kindergarten is on the first floor of the commercial complex at Lake Silver and the closest road is Sha On Street in Wu Kai Sha.

Wu Kai Sha is towards the eastern tip of a peninsular north of Ma On Shan in close proximity to the Tolo Harbour. Click here for map.

Lake Silver is still under construction and is scheduled to be completed in December 2009.

Configuration

The kindergarten is laid out over 10,000 square feet and comprises:

• 7 classrooms, with sliding doors between 6 of the 7 classrooms
• Indoor play area
• Outdoor play area
• Pantry
• Staff/Resource room
• Principal's room

Dedicated entrance with bus drop-off area in front of the kindergarten.

There are excellent facilities for learning, including both indoor and outdoor learning spaces. Most classrooms have interactive whiteboards. All classrooms have at least one multimedia computer and a good range of resources for each teacher to use with the children.

We also have extensive resources for the 6 areas of learning and well stocked libraries in each class.

Classes

When full, the kindergarten will have a capacity of around 300 children. Like our other kindergartens, there will be around 22 children per class. There will be two sessions a day, morning (AM) and afternoon (PM).
