Hillside, located next to Bradbury School, was transformed from the ESF head office premises into a kindergarten following the relocation of ESF Centre.

Hillside is located in the upper Wan Chai area.

Configuration

The kindergarten comprises:

• 8 classrooms areas
• Indoor play area
• Outdoor play area
• Pantry
• Staff/Resource room
• Admin office/Sick Bay
• Principal's room

Dedicated entrance with bus drop-off area by the side entrance of the kindergarten.

Our premises are more spacious and versatile than those at the old Sheung Wan location, and we were able to design their use to meet the diverse needs of pre-school aged children. In addition to eight classroom areas, our premises currently boast a large indoor playroom, an art and wet work area and a special area for sensory specific activities. Most classrooms have interactive whiteboards.

Classes

When full, the kindergarten will have a capacity of around 300 children. Like our other kindergartens, there will be around 22 children per class. There will be two sessions a day, morning (AM) and afternoon (PM).
