Spanish Beginner 2

Ages 8+ years

Beginner to Pre-Intermediate (P3+ or students who have completed the Spanish Beginner 1 course)

This Spanish programme is for the beginner to pre-intermediate level. Through interactive activities, students will develop their communication skills so they can begin to express themselves in Spanish, both speaking and writing. It provides a solid foundation in Spanish as students learn the vocabulary and grammatical structures required for everyday situations. Students learn about the culture, read a variety of texts and participate in stimulating activities which will develop their reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.

Students will start using present tense, interacting in everyday situations, and describing their daily routine, their house, their family members and friends.

This course is for students who have some knowledge of Spanish, but it is essentially a beginners’ programme.  Students should be able to read and write in their first language before joining this course.

In Spanish Beginner 2 students will:

  • Increase confidence and enjoyment in using Spanish
  • Develop an understanding of basic grammatical structures
  • Build up a basic Spanish vocabulary

The curriculum is supplemented with the course book Colega 1.
