I enjoy teaching at ESF Language & Learning as they have a broad and engaging curriculum and at the same time, allow creativity. The students have a positive disposition towards learning. It is gratifying and encouraging to see students from different schools and cultural backgrounds interacting and enjoying their learning. Last but not least, all members of staff are always cordial and supportive.

8. Share a funny story that has happened in your classroom or at school.

This first happened at school when I introduced myself as “Mrs. Jetley” to a group of new Year One students and I wrote my name on the whiteboard. One student suddenly greeted me “Good Morning, Mrs. Jelly” with a giggle and the rest of the class laughed. I then said “but I’m not wobbly!” with a smile and they all roared with laughter. It was a great way to break the ice with the children that morning. At times, this still happens when I introduce myself to younger students.
